PRODUCTION HISTORY:
A satire of post-9/11 American life, What the Hell is Going on Here? was originally conceived and written in San Francisco in 2002. It was first produced at the University of California, Santa Cruz's Chautauqua Festival, in May of 2003. The production ran for two weeks over the course of the festival, and was favorably reviewed in two local papers.
